Dorothy M. Dottie Haines, age 90 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at her home following a lingering illness. Dottie was born on June 23, 1924 in Chicago to Peter Olaf and Inga Marie (Stone) Lynnes and moved to the White Cloud area at an early age. Dottie met and married George Haines on March 7, 1943 in White Cloud. Dottie and George had been managers of the White Cloud Campground and Croton Campground for many years until their retirement. Dottie enjoyed painting, drawing, sewing, camping and traveling, singing and listening to music and was known for her story telling as well. Dottie was a Life Member of the V.F.W. Womens Auxiliary in Big Rapids. Dottie is survived by her husband of 71 years, George; her children, Sandra (Larry) Cox of Saginaw; Vicki Deam of White Cloud; Christopher (Katrina) Haines of White Cloud; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ila Lynnes of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. Dottie was preceded in death by her sister, Madeline Dolly Ditlow; brothers, Donald Lynnes, Clifford Lynnes;Armond Buddy Lynnes; and her son-in-law, Steve Deam VISITATION : Friday, October 10, 2014 from 9:30am 11am at the St. Joseph Catholic Family Center in White Cloud. MASS OF RESURRECTION SERVICES : Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : St. Joseph Catholic Church Food Pantry.
