Dorothy Marie Root of Newaygo, formerly of White Cloud, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Dorothy was born on June 13, 1943 to Archie and Clara (Lochard) Bixby. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She loved doing crossword puzzles going to the beach and occasionally dancing. Dorothy was a former member of the White Cloud Eagles for many years. Dorothy was survived by her children; Tammy (Gary) Cook of Branson Missouri, David (Julie) Root of Stanwood Michigan, Renae (Kelly) Mahn of AuGres Michigan, Becki (Kevin) Gibson of White Cloud Michigan, Randy Root Jr of Newaygo, Jerrid Root of Hastings, 15 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 2 great greatgrandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Archie and Clara Bixby; her son Rocky Orcutt; her siblings Mae Lee, Mary Francis, Jean Wellman, Archie Bixby, Hank Bixby, and Calvin Bixby.
