Dorothy E. Wolgamott, age 71, of Bitely passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Mercy Health in Muskegon. Dorothy was born on January 29, 1943 in Lilley Township to William L. and Anna M. (Longcore) Krise and married Guy Nathaniel Wolgamott on January 31, 1976 in Bitely. Dorothy took special pride in her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her husband Guy; children Jennifer (Ben) Kirwin of Walkerville, Guy N. (Vanessa) Wolgamott II of Bitely, and George (Jackie) Wolgamott of Walkerville; grandchildren, Perrin and Parker Kirwin, and Easton Wolgamott; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dee Krise, Elepha Karn, Maxine Wolgamott, Dale (Doreen)Wolgamott, Loren (Sandy) Wolgamott, Andy (Jean) Wolgamott, Margaret (Paul) Martin, and Bruce (Marjorie) Hill. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister, Marie Lamb and Bill Krise; and brothers-in-law, George, L.D., and Labon Wolgamott. Dorothy loved children and played a big part in raising many of her nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Lunch and time to gather with the family from 2 – 5 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Walkerville Wesleyan Church. Interment will be in Troy Township Cemetery.
