Koewers, Doug White Cloud Doug Koewers, age 63 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2003 at the Spectrum Health Downtown Campus in Grand Rapids . He was born on November 2, 1939 , in Grand Rapids to Robert and Nina (Raak) Koewers and was an auto parts assistant. He is survived by his father Robert Lee Koewers of White Cloud; sisters, Dorothy (Philip) Hogan of Fremont and DeDe (Sam) Zimmerman of Newaygo; brother, Don (Paula) Koewers of Florida; and 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Nina in 1984. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Fremont with The Rev. Mary J. Frens presiding.
