Douglas L. Bush, age 51 of Hesperia, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at his home. Doug was born on April 13, 1958 in Shelby, Michigan to Walter Leroy and Dorothy (Phillips) Bush and has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia area. Doug had been a production worker at Kurdziel Foundry in Rothbury for several years until a disability. Doug enjoyed fishing and hunting in the Michigan outdoors and was an avid University of Michigan fan. Doug was a sports enthusiast his entire life and had an outstanding high school sports career in football, track, baseball at Hesperia High School and was also a state wrestling finals runner up. Doug graduated from Hesperia High School in 1976 and was known to his close friends as "creature". Doug is survived by his sons, Ryan Daniel Bush of Hesperia; Joshua Bush of Hesperia; his parents, Leroy and Dorothy Bush of Hesperia; his brother, Walter Joseph (Donna) Bush of Hesperia; his sister, Mary Lou (Jeff) Replogle of Hesperia; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
