Douglas Charles Plotts, age 60, of White Cloud, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Born on Tuesday, November 24, 1964, in Fremont, Michigan, Doug was known for his passion for the outdoors.

A true son of Michigan, Doug had a deep love for hunting and fishing. Whether on a quiet morning in the woods or a tranquil afternoon by the water, Doug found peace and joy in nature's embrace, passions he shared with family and friends.

Doug is survived by his children: Carl Plotts of Grand Rapids, Dusty Highland of Grand Rapids, Douglas M. Plotts of Ohio, and Cassandra Beckmann Coleman of Arizona. He also leaves behind several grandchildren. Siblings, Leon Plotts, Oliver (Pam) Plotts, Durwin Plotts, Betty Krueger of Big Rapids, MI, Leo (Michelle) Plotts of White Cloud. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Leon Plotts and Barbara J. Plotts.

As per Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services at this time. The family finds comfort in knowing that Doug lived fully and left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crandell Funeral Home - White Cloud Chapel.
