E. Ann Green, age 81 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at her home following a short illness. Ann was born on May 24, 1927 to Ralph and Mildred (Gleason) Thompson. Ann graduated from Hesperia High School in 1945 and moved to the Muskegon area. She met and later married John Ed Green on August 17, 1968 in White Cloud. Ed preceded her in death on May 20, 1993. Ann has been a resident of the White Cloud area for the past 40 years where she was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and taking care of the flowers at the White Cloud Cemetery. Ann especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Judy (Craig) Grunow of White Cloud; John (Marie) Green of Ithaca, Michigan; Kelly (Angie) Green of Walker; 7 grandchildren, Eric (Lynnette) Webster; Susan (Tim) Frisbie; Paulette (Peter) Cocco; Emily (Matt) Harkness; Allie Green; Becky Green; Eddie Green; 13 great grandchildren; her sisters, Barb Jacobsen of Twin Lake; Ruth Melvin of Stanwood; many special friends. She was preceded in death by her great grandson, Beau Webster; her brother and sister-in-law, Walter F. and Rosalie Thompson; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Sue and Norm Dye; her brother-in-laws, Jerry Jacobsen and Rolly Faulkner. VISITATION : Saturday from 4-6pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. INTERMENT : White Cloud Cemetery.
