Myer, Earl L. Earl L. Myer, age 76 of White Cloud, formerly of Constantine, Michigan passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in East Grand Rapids. Earl was born on October 18, 1930 in Constantine to Wilber H. and Hazel (Staples) Myer and married Alice Hanson on October 24, 1955 in LaGrange, Indiana. Earl graduated from Constantine High School and started working with his father in the heating and plumbing business and later started work at the E.L. Nichols Company in Constantine as a welder until his retirement in 1992. Earls met his wife, Alice during his years of stock car racing at various race tracks throughout lower Michigan. Earl moved to the Hardy Dam area in 1975 where he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, bowling, tinkering around his house and working in his garden. Earl was a lifetime member of the Constantine Fire Department where he served for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Alice of White Cloud; his daughters, Sharon Givens of White Cloud; Ginger (Lewis) Adamson of South Haven; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Phil) Napieralski; Brad Adamson; Alicia Givens; 1 great grandson, Michael Napieralski; his brothers, Clifford (Judy) Myer of Kalamazoo; Warren (Joanne) Myer of Kalamazoo; Joseph (Nancy) Myer of California; his sister-in-law, Linda Myer of Scottville. Earl was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Adamson in 1997 and by his brother, Jim Myer and sister, Donna Blanchard. Funeral memorial services were held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Pastor Lewis Adamson presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
