Earl H. Page, age 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday morning in a local hospital. Mr. Page was born in Bitely, Michigan and he was the son of the late Florence Alice Conklin Page and John D. Page. His wife, Evelyn Craigmyle Page, his brother, John Albert Page and his brother in law, Ray McGhan also preceded him in death. Mr. Page was a 1951 graduate of White Cloud, MichiganHigh School and he received his Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University in 1968. He was a retired School Teacher in the Newaygo County, Michigan School System with over 30 years of service. He also taught 5 years in private schools. He was past president of the Newaygo County School Employees Credit Union. He was a former member of Everett Township Board, Everett Township Planning Commission; he was a member of the Michigan Education Association and the National Education Association where he served as president. He was a long time Little League Baseball Coach and was a past president of the White Cloud Little League. He was an avid Lee University sports fan and since being in Cleveland, he never missed a home game involving Lee Baseball, Lee Men's Basketball or Lady Flames Basketball. Mr. Page was very faithful to his church and was a lifelong member of the White Cloud, Michigan Church of God where he served as organist, pianist, Sunday School Teacher, pastor's council member and Children's Church Director. He is also a member of the Westmore Church of God. Survivors include his son, Pastor Kelvin Page and his wife Debbie of Cleveland, his daughter, Marlene Farmer and her husband Raymond of Crofton, Kentucky, his grandchildren, Brandon Shane Page and his wife Jennifer of Huntersville, North Carolina, Kyle Anthony Page and his wife April of Cleveland, John Ryan Page of Huntersville, North Carolina, Pastor Erich Daniel Lacks and his wife Emily of Athens, Tennessee, Brent Cameron Lacks and his fiancé, Meagan of Crofton, Kentucky, his great grandchildren, Jacob Page, Jeremiah Lacks, Isaac Page, Caroline Page, Raymond Lacks and Jensen Page, his sister, Evelyn McGhan of Hart, Michigan, his sister in law, Ila Page of White Cloud, Michigan, his special friend, David Miller of White Cloud and several nieces and nephews also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 1:00 P. M. from the Westmore Church of God with Pastor Wendell Smith officiating. Interment will be in Big Prairie Cemetery in White Cloud, Michigan. A Memorial Service will be conducted in White Cloud Church of God on Thursday evening, March 27, 2014 at 7:00 with family and friends sharing. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 1:00 Wednesday at the Westmore Church of God. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to a new Church project, House of Hope Church of God, 16660 Dawson Springs Road, Crofton, Kentucky 42217.
