Convertini, Earnest Fredrick Mr. Ernest Frederick Convertini, age 88, of Newaygo passed away on December 27, 2003, at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. He was born on September 17, 1915, in Brooklyn, New York , the son of Vito Anthony Convertini and Carmella Delmuchio. He was the loving husband of Keola Brown, who he married on June 6, 1987, at the Newaygo United Church of Christ. He was a World War II veteran in the Army Air Corps. and member of the Terrazzo & Tile Setters Union in Las Angeles, California. He loved people, was well known for his story telling, a great camper and was an avid fisherman. Surviving is his wife Keola of Newaygo; sons, Fred Ernest (Judy) Convertini of Fremont, John Anthony (Sally) Convertini of Hawaii, and Michael Eugene Convertini of Oregon; step-children, Allen (Marcia) Peterson and Bruce (Nancy) Peterson both of Newaygo; 2 grandchildren, Kolin (Jene) Convertini of Norton Shores and Scott Convertini of California; 2 great-grandchildren, Mason and Nolan Convertini; sister, Rosemary (Cass) Pelecki of Hollywood, Florida; brother, John (Virginia) Convertine of Columbus, Ohio. Ernest was preceded in death by his first wife Anna in 1985 and brother Eugene in 1989. Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2004, at the Newaygo United Church of Christ.
