Edith Lynette Belbeck, age 88, of White Cloud, passed away Monday, December 7, 2009, at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. She was born on September 7, 1921 in Flint, to Frank R. and Leah R. (Markart) McDermidt and married Robert Belbeck on October 7, 1939 in Flint. She had worked for Ford Motor Company until her retirement in the 1972. Edith is survived by her children, Diane (Gordon) Thompson of White Cloud; James Robert (Patsy) Belbeck of Stockbridge, MI; and Frederick Belbeck of Belleville, MI; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grand children; 2 great great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, and Bonnie McDermidt of Flint. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009, from 10 11 AM, at the Aetna Calvary Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11 AM at the church with Pastor Phil Jones presiding.
