Hendrie, Edith E. Edith E. Hendrie, age 90 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Edith was born on July 22, 1914 in Newaygo to George and Martha (Guenther) Stone and later married Frank Hendrie on May 30, 1943 in Fremont. Frank preceded her in death on October 29, 1998. She has been a longtime resident of the area where she had been a homemaker and enjoyed her cats. She is survived by her children, William (Sheryl) Hendrie of Muskegon; Rosemary (Bud) Urban of Midland; Sonny Stone of Twin Lake; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grand daughter, Tina Urban and by her brother, Emil Stone. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev.
