Grasiewicz, Edward J. Edward Grasiewicz, age 82 of White Cloud, formerly of Sparta, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Ed was born on May 23, 1923 in Grand Rapids to Constantine and Mary (Biedron) Grasiewicz and later married Mary Westphal in 1979 in Grand Rapids. He had been a painter at General Motors Plant 2 in Grand Rapids until his retirement and enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and cards.. He had attended the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud. Ed also served in the United States Army during World War II where he received a Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife, Mary Grasiewicz of White Cloud; his mother, Mary Grasiewicz of Grand Rapids; his children, Pat Grasiewicz; Kathleen; Theresa (Kris) Anderson; Geralynn (Chuck) Suchecki; John Grasiewicz; Tony Grasiewicz; Dan (Paula) Sargent; Mary Gray; Leslie (John) Hage; Dawn Cooper; 27 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Eugene Grasiewicz; sisters, Florence (Norbert) Antor; Louise Lipski; Patsy; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 8, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel.
