Edward M. Kosla, age 64 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at his home following a lingering illness. Edward was born on September 18, 1951 in White Cloud to Stanley and Frances (Dudeck) Kosla. Ed graduated from White Cloud High School in 1970 and later married Penny Hall October 19, 1973 in White Cloud. Ed had worked at Birds Food Market, Dennys Valuland and later retired from Houseman Foods in White Cloud as the dairy manager. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the Michigan outdoors, listening to music and was always quick with a joke for family and friends. Edward is survived by his wife, Penny of White Cloud; his daughters, Charlotte (Alex) Hoyhtya of Twin Lake; Amanda Hutson of White Cloud; his grandchildren, Sabrina Kosla (Kyle Fahrlander); Nathan Hoyhtya; Madelline Hutson; Aurora Hutson-Riedinger; his sisters, Helen (Robert) Windver of Owosso, Michigan; Josie (Mike) Detmers of Grand Rapids; sister-in-law, June Kosla of White Cloud; his brother-in-law, Perry (Susan) Hall of Hesperia; many nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony Kosla, Joe Kosla, and John Kosla; his sisters, Rose Skipper, Carol Luehrs and Mary Anna Kosla. MEMORIAL GATHERING and LUNCHEON : Friday, October 30, 2015 from 12:00pm until 1:30 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Family Center in White Cloud.
