IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward John
Troyanowski
March 8, 1933 – October 15, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward John Troyanowski, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and veteran, who passed away on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the age of 91.
Ed was born and raised in the White Cloud area and after serving in the US Army, moved to Grand Rapids to work and raise his family with his wife Ruth, who predeceased him in 2011.
Ed worked in the lumber industry for many years before he and Ruth began a second career as the owners and operators of Sportsman's Park at Hardy Dam. His contributions to real estate development were well respected in the community.
He leaves behind a loving family who cherished him deeply: his children, Mike and AnnMarie Troyanowski of Fremont, Debbie and Tom Adams of Suttons Bay, Cindy and Doug Wildey of Comstock Park, and Tom and Melissa Troyanowski of Rockford. Ed was also the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. His grandchildren were the light of his life and he would often do anything to put a smile on their face.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Crandell Funeral Home Inc, White Cloud, MI, on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Military honors will be presented at 12pm with a funeral service to follow. A luncheon will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church immediately following the funeral service.
