Edwin R. Haase, age 66 of Hesperia, formerly of Byron Center, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Grace of Douglas Nursing Center in Douglas. Ed was born on Decmeber 19, 1946 in Grand Rapids to Charles and Catherine (Miller) Haase and had worked for Country Fresh Dairy for 41 years until his retirement as a hi-lo driver in 2007. Ed married Judy R. Vandermolen on October 2, 1981 in Grandville and has been a resident of the Hesperia area since January of 2007. Ed enjoyed playing cards, golfing, watching baseball and football, deer hunting and socializing with friends. Ed was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia. Ed is survived by his wife, Judy of Hesperia; his children, Tammy (Joe) Cunningham of Wyoming; Char (Ken) Edwards of North Carolina; Deanna (Joe) Lipscomb of Hopkins; Rhonda (Chris) Rickert of Dorr; Bonnie (Ron) Robinson of Hesperia; Kim Thompson (special friend, Kenny Sieg) of Lincoln Park; Cindy (Mike) Craig of Traverse City; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. VISITATION: Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 4-7 at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. MEMORIAL MASS OF RESSURECTION : Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 11am at Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia. INTERMENT : Christ The King Catholic Cemetery in Hesperia.
