Elinor S. Ensign, age 88 of Fremont, formerly of Hesperia, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004 at her home. Elinor was born on June 6, 1916 in Dickinson , Texas to Bryce and Dorthea (Tornabene) Sperandio and later married Joseph Ensign on July 30, 1934 in Chicago. She has been a homemaker and she and Joe had owned and operated Harmony Hill Resort on McClaren Lake for several years until retirement. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Joseph of Fremont; her niece, Rose Como of Chicago; great nieces Karen (Joseph) Simons and Pamela Coma of Chicago, and many other great nieces and nephews; several great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Funeral memorial services were held on Saturday, November 13, 2004 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev.
