Elizabeth "Bettie" Theresa Stacey, age 92 of Fremont, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Fountain View Retirement Village in Fremont. Bettie was born on May 11, 1928 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Andrew Francis and Anna Marie (Harrington) Martin and later married Richard "Dick" Stacey on April 24, 1948 in Detroit. Dick preceded her in death on October 8, 2004. Betty grew up in the Detroit area and she and Dick later moved to Colorado for Dick's work and then moved to the Fremont area in 1967. Bettie had worked as a secretary at the Gerber Products Company in Fremont for over 20 years until her retirement. Bettie enjoyed living on Fremont lake – boating and skiing and truly enjoyed flower gardening at her home. Bettie was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont. Bettie is survived by her children, Rick (Anne Henning) Stacey of Fremont; Susan (Jim) Cioffi of Fremont; her grandchildren, Daniel (fiancé, Kristina) Stacey; Melanie (Eric) Johnson; Stefanie (Ryan) Brant; Monica (Robert) Griffith; Richard Korstange; Todd Korstange; her great grandchildren, Kendra Roossien; Lauren Hutchinson; Ella Stacey; Liam Brant; Stella Brant; her great great granddaughter, Brinley Roossien. Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Stacey in 2004 and by her sister, Marie Dahlman.
