Ellen L. Johnson, age 71 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Ellen was born on July 7, 1948 in White Cloud to Donald and Emma E. (Eldred) Johnson and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1967. Ellen has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area and had worked at White Cloud Products for a short time and then retired in 2011from Wolverine Worldwide after over 25 years. Ellen truly enjoyed fishing and hunting, visiting with family and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Ellen is survived by her sisters and brother, Nadalyn (Carl) Zmrzlik of White Cloud; Leonard Johnson of White Cloud; Kay (Ernie) Kantola of White Cloud; Linda (Gary) Smalligan of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Donald in 1966, her mother, Emma in 2003; her sister, Donna Marie Nelson in 2004 and by her nephews, Carl "Joe" Zmrzlik in 2006 and Ronald Zmrzlik in 2017 VISITATION : Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 1-2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel with MEMORIAL SERVICES on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel.
