Gibson, Eloise A. Eloise Gibson, age 87, went home to be with her Lord peacefully at home on Sunday, August 11, 2002 . She was born on June 13, 1915 , to Christian and Elsie (Sorenson) Aslakson and married Edwin Gibson on December 2, 1939 . She was an active member of the Holton Evangelical Lutheran Church and has been organist at the church for the last 65 years. Eloise is survived by her loving daughter Janice L. (Sam) Eckhardt of Holton; 6 grandchildren, Brian (Jeanna) Eckhardt, Kristin Geisler, Brent Eckhardt, Michael Gibson, Nickki Gibson, and Dan Gibson; 5 great-grandchildren, Jesse, Summer, Courtney, Katey, and Ivy. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin on January 13, 1997 , and son Ted Gibson on March 9, 1998 . Services were held at the Holton Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor James P. Olsen officiating. Interment is in Oakgrove Cemetery in Holton. For a more lasting memorial, the family asks that friends consider the Holton Evangelical Lutheran Church .
