Eloise Annette Huxmann, age 83 of Shelby , formerly of Fremont and Pueblo , Colorado , passed away Wednesday at her home. She was born on October 1, 1919 in Elsie , Michigan to Harrison B. and Fern Finch (Wolley) Crell and married Paul Huxmann Jr. on January 18, 1942 at Brooks Field Air Force Base in San Antonio , Texas . Paul preceded her in death in 1997. Eloise has been a resident of the area for the past 3 years where she had been a homemaker and member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ Church in Fremont . She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine (Richard) Cornwell of Shelby; her son, Douglas (Connie) Huxmann of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, Shelly (Jeff) Henderson of Newaygo; Steven (Tina) Cornwell of Comstock Park; Crystal (Art) Vanderhoef of Davenport, Iowa; Daniel (Sheri) Cornwell of Newberry; Holly (Matt) Dickens of Carsonville, Michigan; 6 beloved great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Huxmann Jr. in 1997. Funeral memorial services were held on Saturday, August 2, 2003 from the First Congregational United Church of Christ Church in Fremont with Mr. Lecil Sullivan presiding.
