Eloise was known for her angel food cakes, but we remember you for those beautiful cakes you made for us! Didn't you make Arnold a special cake before you moved With sympathy, Arnold and Mildred Woodring Posted 4/18/07 Dear Family, We have many fond memories of Eloise. But it was the Lord's time that she leave this earth. We are in Florida and are packing up to leave next week. It was impossible to be in time for the funeral. Last summer we visited her and had a nice visit, and didn't realize she was slipping health wise so fast. Our plans were to visit her when we came home. Our sympathy to all, and may we meet sometime in the future. Warmly, Ruth and William Noorduyn Posted 4/20/07 I received word that Aunt Eloise had gone home last Wednesday when I arrived in Orlando. Hearing the news brought back good memories of visiting Uncle Al and Aunt Eloise and all my cousins while the dairy farm was in operation. I cant think of Aunt Eloise apart from her angel food cake, which faithfully made an appearance at the annual forth-of-July party, and the awe I feel every time I look at the recipe and fantasize about actually tackling it. May the Lord bless her memory in the hearts of those she touched in this life, as He gives her great joy in her new life with Him. Paula (Kunnen) and Don Hurst Colorado Springs, CO Posted 4/24/07
