Elwin "Butch" Schuyler, Jr. formerly of Fremont, MI died peacefully on March 14, 2019, in Missouri at the age of 76. Butch was born on February 5, 1943, in Shelby, Michigan to Elwin and Vera Schuyler. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1961 and married Linda Parketon, his high school sweetheart in 1962. Butch was passionate about hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and Nascar and enjoyed sharing those passions with his children and grandchildren. Butch always enjoyed making fresh popcorn for his grand kids and it was the number one thing requested when they came to visit. While in Michigan, you could find Butch working as the Service Manager at the local car dealership or hunting, fishing, and enjoying the camaraderie of many friends and family. In 1988, he moved to Missouri working for LubeCon Lubrication Systems and retired in 2001. Butch spent his retirement years enjoying his time with family and friends. Butch became an organ transplant recipient in 2003 and without such a generous gift we would not have the memories and moments with our Dad for the past 16 years. Butch is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda (Parketon) Schuyler; children, Scott Schuyler and Kelly Schuyler; grandchildren, Matthew Wisner, Caleb (Zoey) Schuyler, Nathaniel Schuyler, and Miranda Fotis; great-grandson, (due in August 2019); sisters-in-law, Beverly Parketon and Darlene Parketon; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera (Titus) Schuyler on November 3, 2016; father, Elwin Schuyler, Sr. on July 23, 1999; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tim and Margaret Parketon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Sandra (Parketon) Dailey; brother-in-law, Larry Parketon; and nieces and nephews, Perry Dailey, Sue Dailey, and Eric Swecker.
