Emily H. Bowman, age 94 of Ludington, passed away Monday at the Memorial Medical Center of West Michigan in Ludington. Emily was born on December 23, 1912 in Illinois to Phillip Jacob and Margaret (McMaster) Dexheimer and later married Everett Bowman in Muskegon, Michigan. Everett preceded her in death in 1985. Emily had lived in Summerfield, Florida for several years and moved to Ludington in 2001 to be close to her niece. Emily had enjoyed crafts, reading and spending time with her great nieces and nephews. She is survived by her niece, Beatrice Dornbos of Ludington; great nephew, Jack & Cathy Stibitz of Ludington; several other great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Dexheimer and sister, Marle. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with a time of visitation from 1-2pm with Pastor Les VanDyke of the Reeman Christian Reformed Church presiding with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
