Emma E. Johnson, age 82 of White Cloud passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont . She was born on March 9, 1920 in Fremont to Emmet Eldred and Rosetta (Seely) Johnson. She married Donald Johnson on June 14, 1939 in Fremont and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1966 . She owned and operated an upholstery business from 1960 to 1970 at her home and was a loving mother and homemaker. Emma is survived by her son, Leonard (Novella) Johnson of Fremont; daughters, Nadalyn (Carl) Zmrzlik of White Cloud; Kathleen (Earnest) Kantola of White Cloud; Donna Nelson of White Cloud; Ellen Johnson of White Cloud; Linda (Gary) Smalligan of Fremont; many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; her sisters, Delilah Holland of Stanton and Betty (Jerry) McCure of Lowell; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. Judy Corey of Newaygo County Chaplaincy Services presiding with interment in the Lincoln Township Cemetery . Friends may consider the Emma E.
