Erwin Lloyd Moon, age 77, of Fremont passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020, at Select Specialty Hospital in Muskegon. Erwin was born on August 27, 1942, in Dayton Center to Nobel Dewey and Bertha Ella (Cook) Moon and married Sherlyn Dawn Schurkamp on June 30, 1962, in North Muskegon. Erwin had been a truck driver most of his life and enjoyed watching western movies, painting, and had a great sense of humor. Erwin is survived by his wife, Sherlyn; children Dave (Ruth) Moon of Holton and Paulette Moon of Fremont; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Robins, Miranda (Jon) Robins-Vilchez, Courtney Robins, Danielle Moon-Hill, Rachel Moon, and Christopher (Heather) Moon; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Leora Williamson of Muskegon and Elna Nieboer of Fremont; sister-in-law Marge Moon; and many special friends. He was preceded by his brothers and sisters, Marvin Moon, Ellen Johnson, Arlene Hastings, Thelma Coverly, Orpha Teerman, and Nathan Moon; and his half-brother, William.
