Esther M. Beaudry, age 62 of Muskegon, passed away Tuesday at the Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon. Esther was born on April 2, 1946 in Sitka to Joseph and Rose (Deblock) Hagen and graduated from Fremont High School in 1964. She met and later married Ben Beaudry on September 24, 1966 in Brunswick and has been a resident of Muskegon for the past 42 years. Esther had worked at the Orchard View Elementary Schools in the food service department for many years until her retirement in 2002. Esther enjoyed flower gardening, was a passionate reader but her true enjoyment in retirement was spending time with her grandchildren, Dawson and Makenna. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ben Beaudry of Muskegon; her son, Jody Beaudry of Winterhaven, Florida; grandchildren, Dawson and Makenna Beaudry of Winterhaven, Florida; brother, Joseph (Mary) Hagen of Alto; special friend, Brenda Major of Muskegon; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Jerry) Berry of Muskegon; Mary (Don) Bayle of Hesperia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose on May 9, 2006 and her father, Joe on Dec. 26, 2008. VISITATION : Thursday 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel and Friday 9:30-10:30 at the church. FUNERAL MASS SERVICES : Friday 10:30am at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Muskegon.
