Bragg, Eugene E. Eugene E. Bragg, age 66 of Holton, passed away Monday, June 16, 2003 at the Mercy Hospital in Muskegon . He was born on June 12, 1937 in Muskegon to Lio and Eleanor (Whightman) Bragg and married Barbara Roach on October 21, 1960 in Hesperia. He has been a lifelong resident of the Holton area and was retired from Campbell Wyant Cannon after 35 years of service. He enjoyed clock and watch repair, hunting and fishing, and was an active speaker and sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a member of the Holton American Legion, Cobb Trygstad Anderson Post #397 and a member of the Holton Gun Club. He served in the United States Air Force during the post Korean Era. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Holton; his children, Nanci (James) VanOort of Holton; Linda Johnson of Fort Myers, Florida; Jean (Paul) Meyers of Melbourne, Florida; Bonnie Cloud and special friend, Dennis Eely of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; his brother, Byron (Linda) Bragg of Melbourne, Florida; his brother-in-law, Vernon Robinson of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lio and Eleanor Bragg and a sister, Betty Robinson. Funeral memorial services were held on Saturday, June 21, 2003 from the Holton American Legion, Cobb Trygstad Anderson Post #397 with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
