Eugene Gene Gagnon, age 74, of Hesperia passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at his home with his family by his side. Gene was born on February 14, 1941, to George Romeo and Marie Anna (Caron) Gagnon and married Marie Georgetta Therese Rose Warner on August 24, 1963. Georgetta preceded him in death on June 29, 1994. He later married Patricia Mary Ann Huntley on October 27, 2003 in Grand Haven. Gene was a machinist at AIM Tool and Die in Grand Haven and was a Certified Master Mechanic. Gene serviced his country in the United States Coast Guard and Army Reserves, retiring after 24 years. Gene cherished his time with his family and was a member of the Revive Church of Hesperia. Gene is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Michael Gagnon, Robert (Teresa) Gagnon, Tina (Joe) Moorehead, Denise George, Anna (Richard) Meyers, Paul Quinton, Rueben (Melissa Thompson) Quinton, and Molly (Anton Tony) Gabriel; grandchildren, Samantha McKinnon, Zach McKinnon, Alyassa George, Donald (Alishia) Brower, Anna Brower, Alexis (James) Hensly, Jessica Tober, Emily (Keith) Morphis, Rueben Quinton Jr., Ruebie Quinton, Patricia Quinton, Tabatha Quinton, Kyle Harris, Kristopher Harris, Branden Gabriel, and Brittani Gabriel; great grandchildren, Frankie Brower, Eugene Brower, Sophia Hensly, Hanana Henlsy, James Hensly, and Kaleb Morphis; sisters and brother, Rachele Shelly MacArthur and Rita (Rex) Starkweather, and Maurice Gagnon; and many nieces and nephews. Gene was preceded by is sister Yevette. Military rites will be presented in honor of Gene's military service at 11 am on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Hesperia American Legion with a fellowship luncheon to follow.
