Evan Richard Yonker, age 28, of Twin Lake and formerly of Fremont passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019. Evan was born on December 18, 1990, in Evanston, Illinois, to Chris A. and Diana J. (Vermeer) Yonker and married Heather Lynn Gillette on July 23, 2016, in Fremont. Evan had worked for Anderson's Home Work Inc. in Fremont. Evan enjoyed camping, helping neighbors, spending time with his family, and was an avid disc golfer. Evan is survived by his wife, Heather; their children, Hailey and Brooklyn; father, Chris Alan (Diane) Yonker of Ithaca; mother, Diana Jo (Kenneth) Ward of Norton Shores; sister, Emilie (Steve) Smith of Ithaca; grandmother, Peggy Vermeer; and many special friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. There will be visitation to meet with the family prior to the service starting at 12 noon. Contributions may be made to the Hailey and Brooklyn Yonker Trust for a more lasting memorial.
