Evelyn Nyhof Evelyn Nyhof, age 77, of North Muskegon passed away on Saturday at Mercy Hospital. She was born on June 16, 1922, in Detroit to Clarence and Anna (Coffee) Stell and married Richard Nyhof on December 11, 1945, in Brunswick. She was a homemaker and attended the Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Richard Nyhof of North Muskegon; daughter Cynthia Flores of Muskegon; sons, John Nyhof of Muskegon and James (Darleen) Nyhof of Twin Lake; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Roy and sisters Mary and Dorothy. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with Rev. Father Richard J. Van Lente presiding. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial friends are asked to consider Muskegon County Cancer Society.
