Evelyn Alice Schneider Evelyn Alice Schneider, age 85, of Newaygo passed away Saturday, February 5, 2000, at Alter Care Nursing Center in Big Rapids. She was born in Lansing on September 16, 1914, to Truly and Mildred (Patton) Pinckney and out lived four husbands. She was a licensed L. P. N. working at the Ionia State Hospital and private hospitals in Ohio before retirement. She is survived by her children Patricia Wisinski of Grand Rapids, Robert D. (Irene) Nichols of Kentucky, and Arthur Richard Nichols of Pennsylvania; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and brother Robert of California. Graveside services were held at Lowell Cemetery.
