Everett Wendall Bleiler of White Cloud, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his home at the age of 90. Everett was born in Elkhart, Indiana on June 3, 1926 to Herman and Merle Mae (Melvin). Everett later married Joan Putz on November 16, 1947 in White Cloud and had been married for 55 years prior to Joan's passing on March 8, 2003. Everett joined the United States Army Air Corps and served from 1944 until 1946 at the Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton, Florida until his discharge and return to Michigan. Everett was a skilled master printer, starting his trade as a linotype and letterpress operator at the White Cloud Eagle newspaper, then as offset printer at the Times Indicator in Fremont, and as Print Manager at various West Michigan companies, including Hi-Lites Graphics in Fremont until his full retirement at 83 years of age. Everett loved sports and was an active golfer well into his 80s. He was deeply loved by his family and respected by his many friends, neighbors, coworkers and acquaintances.

Everett is survived by four children, Steven Mark (Mary) Bleiler of White Cloud; Roger Wayne (LuAnne) Bleiler of Pierson; Alan Michael (Millie) Bleiler of White Cloud; Cathleen Ruth (Edward) Cruzan of White Cloud; 14 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Everett was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; infant daughter, Mary Jo Bleiler; his sister, Betty Webster; and brothers, Richard and Frank Bleiler.

VISITATION : Monday, February 27, 2017 from 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11am at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel. INTERMENT : White Cloud Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: White Cloud VFW.
