Fern E. Wolever, age 85 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Fern was born on July 10, 1925 in White Cloud to Frank and Nellie (Stubbs) Harris and later married John R. Wolever on May 10, 1947 in White Cloud. John preceded her in death on October 3, 1959. Fern has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where she had been a homemaker and was a life member of the Newaygo V.F.W. Auxiliary. Fern enjoyed reading, playing cards, her independence but especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Frank J. Wolever of Newaygo; Gloria Adamczak of White Cloud; Arthur G. (Sandy) Wolever of Hesperia; Ralph J. Wolever of Grant; Darlene F. Cherwinski of Fruitport; Thomas E. Wolever (Shellie Parks) of Hesperia; Sheilia M. Toby of Muskegon; Janet M. Wolever of Muskegon; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; her sisters, Pearl Maus of Big Rapids; Alice Smith of White Cloud; her brothers, Russell Harris of White Cloud; Charles Harris of Newaygo; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Wolever, her sister, Lois Tucker, and brothers, John and Wilbur Harris. VISITATION : Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 2:30pm at the Newaygo V.F.W. Memorial Hall.
