Parker, Florence M. Florence M. Parker, age 94 of Bitely, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007 at her home. Florence was born on September 22, 1912 in Lansing to Claude and Frieda (Gohr) Cox and later married Leo J. Parker on March 5, 1935 in Lansing. Leo preceded her in death on September 21, 2002. Florence and Leo moved to the Bitely area from Lansing 29 years ago. Florence was also known to many only as twinkle toes and enjoyed arts and crafts, making cards and baking. She is survived by her children, Nancy West of Bitely; Rodger J. (Mona) Parker of Bitely; Larry L. (Carole) Parker of Lansing; her sister, Hazel (Phillip) Reed of Lansing; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the Walden Hill Cemetery with Rev. Rodger Parker presiding.
