Florence Isabelle Truman, age 90 of White Cloud, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at her home. Florence was born on June 10, 1932 in Harbor Springs, Michigan to Ivan and Vera Belle (Allport) Brubaker and graduated from Harbor Springs High School in 1950. Florence met and later married William Herbert Truman on March 23, 1952, in Petoskey. William preceded her in death on January 29, 2015. Florence moved to the White Cloud area in 1987 from Grand Rapids and enjoyed quilting, gardening, hiking and the Michigan outdoors. Florence was also a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Fremont. Florence is survived by her children, Ruth (Jonas) Moses of Big Rapids; Steve (Grace) Truman of Grand Rapids; Mary (Mike) Patterson of White Cloud; Beth (Mike) Brooks of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, William; her sisters, Josephine "Irene" and Donna; her brothers, Oscar and Edward. VISITATION : Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 3-5pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel, 7193 W 48th Street, Fremont, MI 49412.
