Floyd Ellsworth Boston, age 93, of Fremont passed away Friday evening at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. He was born on December 1, 1906, in Ravenna Township, Muskegon County to Ellsworth and Minnie (Ferguson) Boston and married Eva Larsen in 1931. She passed away in 1957. Floyd married Marie (Larsen) Ferguson in 1963. He was a rural school teacher at Johnston School in Muskegon County and worked over 30 years at Norge in Muskegon Hts. retiring from Gilbert Welding in Ravenna. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fremont.
He is survived by his loving wife Marie; daughter Yvonne Boston of Alexandria, Virginia.; sons Ronald (Eve) Boston and George (Sherrin Krueger) Boston both of Muskegon; step-daughter Doris (Joe) Wolters of Muskegon; step-sons James (Lois) Ferguson of Grand Haven and Edward (Susan) Ferguson of South Carolina; 20 grandchildren; 27 great--grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by twin sons and three sisters: Pearl Wunsch, Voilet Cline, and Nina Hartman.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 4, 2000 at the First United Methodist Church in Fremont with Rev. Bert Vermeulen presiding. Interment was in Ravenna Cemetery.
