Frances B. Ciupak, age 91 of Hesperia, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at her daughters home in White Cloud. Frances was born on December 28, 1916 in Detroit to Ignatius and Lucille (Zdunczyk) Kuczewski and later married Stanley Ciupak on January 17, 1937 in Detroit. Stanley preceded her in death on April 19, 1990. Frances moved to the Hesperia area in February 1995 from Dearborn where she had lived most of her life. Frances was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia and had been a secretary in the construction industry prior to retirement. Frances is survived by her children, Stanley (Barbara) Ciupak Jr. of West Bloomfield, Michigan; Arline (David) Sevener of White Cloud; Charlotte (Paul) Isabell of Petersburg, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; her sisters, Theresa Walkuski of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; Anne Kendra of Las Vegas, Nevada. Frances was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia; Wanda; Stella; Hattie; Sophie; Rita; Helen. Private memorial mass services will be held at a later date at the Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia and also in Dearborn, Michigan with interment in Detroit. Friends may consider mass requests to Christ the King Catholic Church for memorial contributions in memory of Frances.
