Frances Fahrer, age 90 of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Frances was born on June 11, 1919 in Big Prairie Township to Clarence Pete W. and Myrtle B. (Oliver) Fahrer and has been a lifelong resident of Newaygo County. Frances moved to the Fremont area in 1968 from Big Prairie Township and had worked as a secretary for the United States Department of Agriculture Farmers Home Administration until her retirement. Frances always enjoyed dancing. She is survived by friends in the Fremont area and by her caregivers at Nelsons Adult Foster Care Home in White Cloud. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery near White Cloud next to her parents, Pete and Myrtle.
