Fletcher, Frances I. Frances I. Fletcher, age 83 of Fremont, formerly of the Pontiac area, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Frances was born on August 6, 1922 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to John and Dora (Young) Dillon and later married Luther C. Fletcher on October 13, 1943. Luther preceded her in death in 1997. Frances had been a waitress in the Pontiac area and had worked in the factories in the Pontiac area during World War II with the Army Air Force. She later moved to the Fremont area in 1998 where she enjoyed her flowers, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and traveling and was a member of the Fremont Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her son Gene (Kathy) Fletcher of Fremont; her grandchildren, Christine Fletcher, Dawn Fletcher, Jennifer Fletcher, Nikki Fletcher, Breanna Fletcher, Courtney Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her all her sisters and by 1 brother. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 26, 2006 at the Fremont Wesleyan Church with Pastor Chad Walenga presiding with interment in the Ottawa Park Cemetery near Pontiac on Tuesday.
