Frances Kathryn LeFavour, age 93, of Fremont passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2003 , at Fountain View Retirement Village in Grant. She was born on February 17, 1910 , in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, to William and Mary (Cauffman) Johnston and married Lawrence G. LeFavour on May 8, 1946 , in Fort Wayne Indiana . She graduated from Nursing School at Jefferson Hospital in Pennsylvania and was a Registered Nurse and Captain in the Army Nurse Corps. in WWII. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and joined her husband in 1953 in the family insurance business until her retirement. She is survived by her son Peter (Darlene) LeFavour of Fremont; 2 grandchildren, Peter Chip LeFavour Jr. of Freeland , Michigan and Carolyn (David) Klebenow of Naperville, Illinois; and 2 great grandchildren, Jordan & Logan Klebenow. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence on September 28, 1977 , and son Jared P. LeFavour on July 7, 1996 . Interment is at Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix.
