Frances M. (Scott) Evans, age 80 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2003 at the War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan . She was born on November 1, 1922 in Hartford Township , VanBuren County to Ernest A. and May ( Stafford ) Figg. She married William Henry Scott on February 16, 1939 in Lawrence , Michigan . William preceded her in death on September 6, 1966 . She later married Robert Evans on October 21, 1967 in White Cloud. Robert preceded her in death on June 12, 1998 . Frances had been a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years in the area until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of the Big Prairie Community Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, traveling and camping. She is survived by her daughters, Della Gustman of Kent City; Dale Scott and friend, Dwight Brunk of Burien, Washington; Danna (Don) Spurlock of Big Rapids; Lou Anne Platt of Cedar Springs; Lora (Walter) Bouck of Sparta; 10 grandchildren and spouses; 20 great grandchildren; 7 stepchildren; her niece, Dorothy Doust of Tucson, Arizona; her nephew, Arnold Johnson of Covert, Michigan; her lifelong friend, Kate White of Coloma, Michigan. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 1 brother, a great grandson, Aaron Guarisco Funeral services were held on Monday, September 8, 2003 from the Big Prairie Community Church with Pastor Arnold Guikema presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery .
