Frank A. Delia, age 79 of Hesperia, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his home following a long illness. Frank was born on October 14, 1933 in Detroit to Pasquale and Antoinette (Amato) Delia and moved to the Hesperia area at the age of 2. Frank had been a self employed logger for over 28 years where he had hauled wood to the SD Warren Paper mill in Muskegon. After his retirement from logging, Frank became a metal recycler as well. Frank enjoyed visiting the casino and in his younger years, enjoyed fishing. Frank is survived by his children, Frank Tony Delia Jr. of Shelby; Tina (Larry) Tinkham of Hesperia; Peter Delia of Hesperia; Victor (Rhonda) Delia of Hesperia; Julie Lord of Newaygo; Mary (Morrey) Boven of Twin Lake; his companion of 33 years, Mary Dake of Hesperia; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his sisters, Mary Martin of Fremont; Rose (Bob) White of Holton; his brother, Don (Gloria) Delia of Newaygo; sister-in-law, Nancy Delia of Fremont; several nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael, John and James Delia. VISITATION : Tuesday 5-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel and on Wednesday from 12-1pm at the funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICES : Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : Christ The King Catholic Cemetery in Hesperia.
