Frank E. Newhouse, age 62 of White Cloud formerly of Ann Arbor, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2002 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. He was born on December 19, 1939 in Redford, MI to Morton Franklin and Sarah Elizabeth Louise (Lake) Newhouse and married Marilyn Devlin on July 3, 1965 in Dexter, Michigan. Frank had worked at the Eastern Michigan University in the retail purchasing department for 29 years until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed his children and was a super grandpa and also served in the Michigan Air National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of White Cloud; his daughters, Kimberly (John) Hambrock of White Cloud; Lori (Victor) Page of White Cloud; his grandchildren, William Franklin Page; Ronald Allen Coger; John David Page; Krystal Marie Newhouse; Whitney Kay Page all of White Cloud; his brother and sister-in-law, James Luther and Cheryl Lynn Lorencz-Newhouse of St. Helen, Michigan; sisters, Mary Cress of Ypsilanti; Betty Baur of Belleville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Verne McCarty, David McCarty, Rollo McCarty and sister Harriet Mitchell. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 25, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home-White Cloud Chapel with Pastor Terry Nelson of the Cross of Christ Church in St. Lyon presiding.
