Guy Fred Boltz, age 68, of Muskegon passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020, at Mercy Health Partners – Sherman Campus in Muskegon. Fred was born on October 2, 1951, in Fremont, to Elmore Frederick and Katie May (Hargrove) Boltz and had worked as a security guard for Consumers Energy Company. Fred was a supporter of Paws For A Cause and had rescued several dogs throughout the years. Several of these dogs are featured on the photo section of this web page. Fred is survived by his brothers, John (Diana) Boltz of White Cloud and Thomas F. Boltz of Fremont; nieces and nephews, Thomas F. (Jill) Boltz Jr., William (Jackie) Boltz, Deana (Joe Bordeaux) Boltz, Claudia Boltz, Alisha Champion, Josh Champion, Theodore Boltz, and Matt (Jennifer) Millis. Thank you to special friend Joe Wilson and for his care for Fred. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmore and Katie; brother, Elmore Gary Boltz; and sisters, Carol F. Boltz and Kay Johnson. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at East Hesperia Cemetery with Pastor Donna Minarik officiating.
