Fred B. Williams Jr., age 52 of White Cloud, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 17, 2011at the Hackley Hospital in Muskegon following a short illness. Fred was born on October 31, 1958 inSpringfield, Ohio to Fred and Bessie (Gavin) Williams Sr. and moved to the White Cloud area in 1980 from Springfield. Fred had worked at the Sundor Company in Fremont for several years until his retirement in 1996. Fred married Carrie Edwards on April 16, 1985 in White Cloud. Fred truly loved fishing and spending time with his grand daughters, playing cards with friends, board games with Carrie and enjoyed gaming at the casino with his wife Carrie. Fred is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carrie Williams of White Cloud; his son, Marlon Ewards (fianc, Heidi) of White Cloud; his grand daughters, Bianca Delroy, Breanna Edwards; Mariah Edwards; his mother, Bessie Gavin of Indianapolis, Indiana; his sister, Diane (Roger) Turner of Springfield, Ohio; his broth, Gabin Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana; nieces, Mona (Rodney) Avery and Monica (Rev. John) Jenkins both of Indianapolis, Indiana; special friends, Victor Harmon, Ronnie Queens and Luther; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Fred was preceded in death by his father, Fred Williams Sr. in 2001 and by his brother, George Williams in 2010. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 4-5pm at the Glory of Latter House Ministries Church in White Cloud with services beginning at 5pm at the Glory of Latter House Ministries Church, 17 E Echo Drive in White Cloud. Services will also be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 9am at the Porter Qualls Funeral Home in Springfield, Ohio with interment in Springfield. Friends may consider the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Michigan for memorial contributions.
