Obituary

Freddie George Taylor, age 80, of Hesperia passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at his home. Freddie was born on August 17, 1935, in Claremont, New Hampshire to George and Ruth (Dawson) Taylor and had been an electrician at S.D. Warren Paper Mill in Muskegon. Freddie married Dorothy Ann Bosse on July 16, 1982, in Muskegon and had proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Freddie enjoyed collecting coins and researching genealogy records. He was a member of the Old Newsies Association in Muskegon, the Hesperia American Legion and the TWESI Blinds Club in Muskegon. Freddie is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, children, Wendy Taylor of North Carolina, Sandy Sink of North Carolina, Geoffrey Scott (Leyla) Taylor of Colorado, Louis Bosse Jr. of Muskegon, and William Bosse of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Carol (Skip) VanBrunt of Idaho. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 2 4 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Military honors and reception will follow starting at 4:30 PM at the Hesperia American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the TWESI The way we see it Blinds Club (778 W. 68 St. Newaygo, MI. 49337). Interment will be in West Hesperia Cemetery.
