Rev. Frederick F. Fritz Konoff, age 68 of Hesperia, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at his home following a lingering illness. Fritz was born on October 7, 1941 in Hazel Park, Michigan to Herman and Louisa Bertha (Breisacher) Konoff. Fritz attended the Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota before moving to the area in 1993. Fritz married Judy Shull on October 16, 1993 in Shelby, Michigan. Fritz started the Apostolic Gospel Church in Montpelier, Ohio and also the New Life Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Pioneer, Ohio and became a licensed minister in the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ while in Ohio. Fritz enjoyed being a chef, cooking, watching good clean movies. He liked telling a joke and laughing with family and friends. Fritz had been a volunteer with Hospice of Michigan, enjoyed attending the Michigan District UPCI Deaf Camp and visiting with his friends in the Hesperia area. Fritz was a member of the Christian Life Center in Fremont. The family was grateful to the staff of Hospice of Michigan for the service provided during Fritzs last days. SURVIVORS : his wife, Judy of Hesperia; his children, Keith Konoff of Toledo, Ohio; Dan (Reba) Konoff of Bryan, Ohio; Lisa Konoff (fianc, Rick Wilcox) of Madison Heights, Virginia; Emily Shull of Hesperia; his grandchildren, Andrea, Damian, Donovan, Jonathon, Vincent, Joshua, Adrianna and Elisha; his great granddaughter, Nevaeh; his brothers, Don (Shirley) Konoff; Ed Konoff and Ken Konoff all of Temperance, Michigan; his sister Dorothy Brywczynski of Toledo, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Jessie (Gerald) Kennard of Nelsonville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Eliott Jacob Konoff; his first wife, Linda Jean Konoff; his father-in-law, Rev. Lloyd Edward Potter. VISITATION : Friday, March 12, 2010 from 2-3pm at the Muskegon Apostolic Tabernacle 1875 Hudson Street in Muskegon. FUNERAL MEMORIAL SERVICES : Friday, March 12, 2010 at 3pm at the Muskegon Apostolic Tabernacle with Pastor Neal Tedford of the Christian Life Center in Fremont presiding.
