Frederick H. Warren Sr., age 80 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at his home following a short illness. Fred was born on February 4, 1930 in Sparta Township to Harold and Mabel (Harrison) Warren and later married Marylou Whitcomb on July 15, 1950 in Grand Rapids. Fred had been a welder at Light Metals Corp. in Grand Rapids until his retirement in 1986. Fred enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, camping and traveling; in his younger years, bowling and golfing. Fred had been spending many summers in the White Cloud area prior to moving to the White Cloud area from Grand Rapids in 1988. Fred served in the Michigan National Guard during the Korean Era and was a member of the Big Prairie Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Marylou of White Cloud; his children, Jodie (Joyce) Warren of Grand Rapids; David Warren of Cedar Springs; Debbie (Gary) Szczepanek of Bitely; William Warren of Ionia; Mary (Ernie) Stewart of Florida; Tamara (William) Tussey of Grand Rapids; Patrick (Penny) Warren of Tennessee; Kelly (Rebecca) Warren of Brohman; Daniel (Jolynn) Warren of Cedar Springs; 25 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; sisters, Pattie (Ron) Harris of Belmont; Joy Schindler of Plainwell; Barbara Corner of Grand Rapids; brothers, Alan (Linda) Warren of Florida; Richard Warren of Fremont; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Ethel and Duane Wolbers of White Cloud. Preceded in death by his son, Frederick Warren Jr. and brothers, Roger, Don, and Jim. SERVICES : following his wishes of cremation memorial services will be held on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 11am at the Big Prairie Community Church 1988 S Elm White Cloud with Rev.
