Nadeau, Gary L. Gary L. Nadeau, age 63 of Fremont, passed away with his family at his side on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at his sisters home in Fremont. Gary was born on December 15, 1941 in Edmore, Michigan to W.J. Doug and Violet (Baddis) Nadeau and has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family on family trips and enjoyed being a father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a loving caregiver for his mother, Violet while she lived at home battling dementia. He enjoyed old cars and trucks and took pride in his restored Chevy truck. He enjoyed gaming and snowmobiling. Gary also served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his sons, Nick Nadeau of Grand Rapids; Noel Nadeau of Fremont; Dustin (Teresa) Nadeau of Fremont; his grandson, Cameron; his granddaughter, Jasmyn; his mother, Violet Nadeau of Fremont; his loving caretaker and sister, Vicki (Huey) Hendrix of Fremont; sister, Yvonne (Roger) King of Muskegon; Jane Ann (Arnie) Rottman of Fremont; his brothers, Rex (Dianna) Nadeau of Fremont; Van (Judy) Nadeau of Racine, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Darlene Parketon of Fremont. Gary was preceded in death by his father, W.J. Doug Nadeau; his brother, Max Nadeau; his nephews, Keith Nadeau and Kevin Nadeau. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Elder Hendrick Jones of the White Cloud Empowerment Center Church of God in Christ presiding with military rites conducted at the funeral home. Interment was in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may consider the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society for memorial contributions in memory of Gary.
